A downloadable game for Windows

Solus is a psychological thriller game where you play as an engineer, named Cyrus, who works on a space station called the Astraeus.  Your job is to "reactivate" the station to prepare for the new crew arriving and turn on important functions.

IMPORTANT INFO:

Hello! My name is Parker Chester and Solus was a project that I created and directed during the Fall 2023 semester at the Shocker Studios.  Due to time constraints there are some remaining bugs/issues that we were unable to address. Down below is some important info for you to be aware of before playing:

  • Controls: WASD to move, MOUSE to move the camera, and E to interact/pickup objects.
  • Dialogue is a bit quiet and I did not have time to add in subtitles, so please turn up your volume - but be warned that the music in the final area is a bit loud so don't go too crazy.
  • Be careful not to move around when a character is speaking as they way dialogue is set up (using trigger boxes) You may cause overlapping.
  • The AI Character ASTRA will ask the player to locate "Emergency Repair Equipment" This is referring to a singular screwdriver, my bad.
  • You use E to move to each ORANGE handle in the hallway. The cursor is a tad difficult to line up and you borderline need to be exactly lined up for it to work right. It does work, you just might need to spam E a bit. Once again, my bad.

Thank you for the comment! There are for sure some issues but due to time and everyone being students its unlikely that we return back to fully finish it. Either way, thank you trying it out!
